
COURSE OF FIRE STRATEGY CLINIC
1/2 DAY CLINIC
This clinic is a deep dive into course of fire strategy. This will be fast-paced and stressful. Students should expect to get as many reps as we can fit in; working a variety of props, execute courses of fire, and training to the point of failure so we can hone in on gaps of knowledge and skill for development. This clinic covers: • Understanding a course of fire • Course of fire strategy • Executing your strategy • Data preparation • Spotting for information • Target size influence • Determining positions and approach • Magnification setting • Staging your equipment your parallax, elevation, and wind • Dialing • Holding • Data card preparation, positioning, and use • Process lists • Footwork • Transitions • After the buzzer information gathering and making decisions • Efficient use of gear and props • Mindset Intended Outcome: Comprehensively create and execute an effective course of fire from introduction through completion, and identify key factors in your performance capability to be able to confidently understand what to continue to train on beyond this session. Our expectation is that you understand and are always able to and will apply firearm safety rules. A safety/medical brief will be given at the start of class. If you fail to safely manipulate your firearm in any way, you are subject to be disarmed, and a refund will not be issued. For this clinic, we do expect you come with a relatively zeroed gun with ammo you are familiar with. We will conduct a swift zero/chrono check at the beginning of class. Required Gear: • Rifle capable of 2 moa or better with match grade ammo • 300 match grade rounds of the same lot • Bipod • Support bag • Ballistic solver/app (Kestrel preferred) • Data arm band or rifle data card • (3) mags • Belt mounted mag pouch • Tools for rifle and optic system • Eye pro • Ear pro (electronic is preferred) • Note taking material • Hydration Recommended Gear: • Chronograph (highly preferred) • Mil reticle • Shooting Mat • Tripod • Binoculars or spotting scope • Range finder • Knee pads • Sunscreen • Headache meds • Chair • Food • Weather gear
Cancellation Policy
All sales are final. Payments must be made in full. No refunds will be distributed unless Maddawg Precision LLC must cancel for unforeseen circumstances. Cancellations can be made up to 45 days from the scheduled course; as a result you will receive 100% credit towards another booking of your choosing for up to 1 year from the date of the cancellation. If cancellations are made inside of 45 days of your scheduled course; 50% of the charge can be credited towards another booking of your choosing for up to 1 year from the date of the cancellation. If cancellations are made inside of 14 days from your scheduled course, no refunds or credits will be distributed. We will work with you to see if there is someone on the waitlist who can take your spot but we cannot guarantee a successful outcome. We refuse to be anything but fair so if this policy applies to you in the future please contact us.
